The Run Processor Manager displays the progress and statistics information of the job in progress (Figure 19). In addition to the ‘Start’ and ‘Stop’ buttons for launching and halting a processing job, the gsRunProcessor.log file can be viewed in a separate pop-up window by clicking the ‘Messages’ button (which is enabled when a processing job is in progress). The log file is presented in a spreadsheet view with log entries listed by timestamp (
Figure 20). The tooltip shows additional information about the log entry under the pointer, including the message level, PTP region, module, a detailed error message and an error code, if available.
Error messages for processes that do not complete successfully are also displayed and described in detail in the area below the ‘Type’ field, listed by error message number (Figure 21). Each message has an associated icon for the type of log entry, as shown in
Figure 22. The GS Run Browser supports older versions of the Run Processor Manager but will display a warning message when it detects a version older than 2.3.
Once a data processing job completes, click on the “Open” button in the Run Processor Manager section (see Figure 21) to view the results in the GS Run Browser. This will close any currently viewed data set and display the results of the newly processed data set.
